The YOD origianly Camp Y.O.D. (Youth Outdoor Days) was started in 2006 in the family back yard in Randallstown MD. We  started this just wanting to do something to get children outside for a few days away from tv and video games to connect with each other, nature and our creator.

Within the first five years children from up and down the eastern seaboard descended on Maryland for this unique experience. Hosting entomologist (insect expert), biologist (life expert), geologist (earth expert) camp attendees explored the wonders of our world together.

Camp wasn't all education the YOD Games became the battle ground on which our teams the Oringinators, Mean Green and Blue Jays were formed and bragging rights earned. Tug of war, sack and egg races are just some of the games that fuel the healthy competition among the campers and of course the coveted YOD Games Trophy.

On the land mark fifth year of Camp Y.O.D. everyone gathered in Maryland we loaded onto a bus and caravanned down to the camp grounds of Kings Dominion in Virginia. We had all of our regular camp fun even saw a skunk but added a day at the Theme park which brought many thrills.

Reminiscing on our humble beginnings in back yards to where we are today and watching the campers grow and now their children and extended family attend and eagerly await each summers return is an honor which brings us so much humility, gratitude and excitment. Now at our new location in Westminster Maryland we look forward to creating more memories with each of you for years to come.
